Policies and procedures are available to current students in the Student Handbook.\u00a0See what Communication, Culture &amp; Technology students say about their experiences in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cct\/internship-spotlight\/\">Internship Spotlight<\/a> series. Students can opt to take internship courses within the department, or enroll in the Bring Your Own internship course.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Independent Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students may propose an independent study&nbsp;if they have a specific research need that cannot be fulfilled in a regularly scheduled course. Up to 3 academic credits may be earned from such a project.&nbsp;Policies and procedures are available to current students in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/georgetown.edu\/cct-student-handbook-fall-2020\/thesis-option\">Student Handbook<\/a>.
