The 3-day conference took place at the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia on September 25-27.&#x00a0;<\/p>\n<p>\tEach year, students are sponsored by CCT to attend the conference. Topics of of this year&#8217;s conference included Domestic Content Policies in the Broadband Age; Privacy, Copyright, and Internet Access; and Industry as an Audience for Academic Policy Research.<\/p>\n<p>\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"202\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2019\/09\/20150929_NEWS-CCT-Students-at-43rd-TPRC_270x202.jpg\" style=\" float: right; margin-left: 2px; margin-right: 2px;\" width=\"270\" \/>May Shandia, a first year CCT Student, had the opportunity to meet with practitioners and scholars from around the world. &#x00a0;&#x201c;I really learned a lot from the conference in terms of hearing the latest issues related to Internet policy, copyright and intellectual property,&#x201d; Shandia said about her experience at TPRC.&#x00a0;Molly Crain, Yirong Mao, Supriya Sharma, Casey Tilton, Kait Williamson, and Xiang Zhang also represented CCT at the conference.&#x00a0;<\/p>\n<p>\tTPRC promotes interdisciplinary thinking on emerging issues in communications and the Internet, disseminating and discussing new research relevant to policy questions in the U.S. and beyond.
