Incoming first year student Mike Messina said \u201cI\u2019m excited to bring my passions to CCT, develop my research, and be around a bunch of other really passionate people, and hear about their ideas and everything they\u2019re bringing to the program.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students were then tasked with an academic game of bingo where they used the CCT website, handbook, and other resources to get as many boxes checked off their bingo boards. This was a great opportunity for incoming students to familiarize themselves with different resources available to CCTers and explore options available to them such as joining Georgetown Entrepreneurship events, requesting a non-CCT course, taking a language class, running for GradGov office, submitting an article to Gnovis, writing a thesis, doing an internship, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o2-1-1024x703.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5952\" width=\"375\" height=\"258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/2025-02-19_cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o2-1-1024x703.png 1024w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/2025-02-19_cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o2-1-300x206.png 300w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/2025-02-19_cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o2-1-768x527.png 768w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/2025-02-19_cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o2-1.png 1082w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afterwards, students were introduced to an array of core and adjunct faculty in small groups, where they got to learn about the professor\u2019s classes, their areas of study, and their perspective on teaching at CCT. First year student Merielle Angelie Agorilla said \u201cI\u2019m very excited about combining my 10-plus years of experience in the workplace and how CCT is going to make that change \u2013 what\u2019s the new frontier of the workplace looking at technology, culture, and communication.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5949\" width=\"326\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/2025-02-19_cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o1.png 676w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/2025-02-19_cct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/240\/2023\/08\/o1-271x300.png 271w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 326px) 100vw, 326px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students took a short break for lunch, where they also were able to connect with current students during the Student Club and Activity Fair.
