Our program focuses on developing scientific knowledge along with leadership skills, teamwork and entrepreneurship &#8211; essentials for career success. Our students learn about all aspects of biotechnology and tailor their studies through one of six <a href=\"https:\/\/biotechnology.georgetown.edu\/ms\/#tracks\">program tracks<\/a>.<br><br>A highlight of the master&#8217;s program is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/biotechnology.georgetown.edu\/ms\/internships\/\">capstone internship<\/a>, which allows students to gain valuable work experience. Internship opportunities are available in all the tracks and can include research in industry, academic, and government laboratories and in business development, marketing, commercialization, finance, regulatory affairs, and technology transfer.
