We prefer letters from science professors or those who have supervised your work in a lab or clinical setting.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"expandable-block wp-block-gu-expand-content \"><h3 class=\"expand-control\"><a href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" data-toggle=\"collapse\"><span class=\"fa fa-chevron-up\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"fa fa-chevron-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span>Academic Statement of Purpose<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"expand-content collapse\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement of purpose allows you to highlight areas of your background or interests that may not be clear in other areas of your application.
