Congratulations to our Graduate student George Melchor from Huang lab!

Graduate student George Melchor has been selected as a Society for Neuroscience Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP) Fellow. This is a highly competitive program that selects up to 18 students each year to participate. NSP is a two year online training program that provides neuroscience trainees from underrepresented and diverse backgrounds with career development and networking opportunities to help them toward future success. George is a GU Healy Scholar and a student in the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience. He is being mentored by Prof. Jeffrey Huang. The focus of the laboratory is on the mechanism of brain repair, and its relevance to age-related neurodegenerative diseases, and multiple sclerosis.
