This week, Emily Williams’ research into robin migration was featured in an article in the famed bird conservation magazine! In the article, she discusses the importance of robin migrations as indicators of environmental shifts due to climate change, and describes the process of catching birds, attaching GPS tags, and analyzing migrational patterns for individual robins. With Drs. Alex Jahn, Ellen Ketterson, and our very own Peter Marra, she hopes to determine the factors that influence the seasonal migration of robins. We look forward to seeing more data has her research continues!
