Interactive Computer Classrooms
In Interactive Computer Classrooms [Reiss 502, Reiss 559* or St. Mary’s G40] there is a computer workstation for every student up to the posted capacity of the room.
As a default, the same software application package found on classroom instructor computers is found on every student workstation PC. Faculty teaching in Interactive Computer Classrooms are encouraged to contact CETS early, to determine whether and how software that students need to use on those computers in the course pedagogy can be licensed and installed on every PC workstation.
*Reiss 559 provides laptops for every student workstation. Faculty requiring LT use by students in their courses in 559 must contact CETS early to request:
- deployment of those laptops for each class session and
- licensing and deployment of any particular software applications that must be added to those laptops for the pedagogy of the class.
