Installed Classroom Technology
Every Hilltop General Purpose Classroom has the following equipment and capabilities:
- a video-projector and retractible projection screen or a flat-panel LED display;
- a networked Desktop PC with keyboard and mouse;*
- HDMI and UDB-C cables for BYOD connectivity;
- Apple TV for wireless connectivity of Apple BYOD;
- Instructor Wireless Lavaliere Miocrophone for instructor (Zoom, recording);**
- Wall-mounted “boundary” microphones for student voices (Zoom, recording);
- Adjustable front and rear wall USB Cameras (Zoom, recording);
- a writing surface (Chalk and/or White Boards) with chalk and/or white board markers, and erasers;
- either a Lecturn/Desk (seated table and standing podium or a Heckler height-adjustable wide lecturn.
* The in-room PC has a Blu-Ray Disk player, and USB ports for memory sticks. Its default Windows login is “CETSUser.” If any PC is not logged in to “CETSUser;” please reboot the PC and it will auto-login. “CETSUser” contains a complete MS Office Suite and many other educational software applications. If properly licensed, you may request additional software to be added to to the PC(s) in particular classrooms.
** In only one classroom (Reiss 103) does the instructor lavalier provide voice amplifications. In all other Hilltop classrooms, CETS Event Services a fee-for-service operation, must be engaged to provide voice amplification.
