OUR General Purpose Classrooms

General Purpose Classrooms (GPCs) on the Hilltop Campus are 138 classrooms managed and scheduled by the Office of the University Registrar (OUR)

Please contact schedulechanges@georgetown.edu to request any new classroom reservation, or any change in reservation for a for-credit semester class.

Any classroom use outside of a scheduled session for a for-credit semester class is considered an “Ad Hoc Classroom Request.” Ad Hoc requests may be made via the EMS System.*

* Ad Hoc Classroom requests in EMS are disabled during the Ad-Drop Periods of the Fall and Spring Semesters, when OUR is still moving semester classes to different rooms for the rest of the Term, due to changing enrollments and other factors.

CETS, which adminsters Ad Hoc Classroom Reservations, can schedule a limited number of Ad Hoc requests during thew Add/Drop period, but usually only on the business day before the usage date. Please contact classroomrequests@georgetown.edu if you must schedule a classroom for an Ad hoc use during the Add/Drop period.
