Infrastructure Support

CETS will also support the non-technology infrastructure of any hilltop General Purpose Classroom. This infrstructure includes:

  • consumables, like chalk, white board markers or erasers;
  • instructor and/or student seating in the room;
  • floors, carpets, stages and ramps;
  • ceilings or ceiling lights;
  • walls and electrical power outlets;
  • classroom doors and doorstops;
  • heating or cooling of the space, and
  • noise from adjacent spaces.

CETS can provide any consumable item to a classroom immediately upon notice of any deficiency. In areas that CETS does not exercise direct control (e.g. electrical outlets or HVAC), it will contact GU Facilities and open and monitor Facilities tickets to remedy the infrastructure problem.

And over the longer term, CETS will schedule classrooms for painting and recarpeting, as University funding permits.
