Copley Formal Lounge] is scheduled by <a href=\"eventmanagement@georgetown.edu\">Georgetown Event Management Services<\/a> (GEMS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Patrons must first reserve the venue with GEMS, and receive a space confirmation from GEMS, before CETS can schedule and confirm service for any program in that venue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Within<strong> Copley Formal<\/strong> there are <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a limited quantity of wireless microphones and a video projector for connecting BYOD, which all can be managed by GEMS internal staff. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The GEMS service model is <strong><em>set-up and testing at the start of an event<\/em><\/strong>, and <strong><em>on-call remotely<\/em><\/strong> thereafter. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It does not include any technician remaining in the venue for the duration of any program or event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GEMS will occasionally refer patrons to CETS for technology requests it feels it cannot support with in-house personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrons must <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeRYKEjj_mbpU8chI1UbOpm-AtYq15bo2RsEiE7icUiexYNfA\/viewform?vc=0&amp;c=0&amp;w=1&amp;flr=0\">request support from CETS Event Services<\/a>, a fee-for-service operation, if they require:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>more than two wireless microphones, or<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a Zoom meeting and\/or video-recording of a program, or <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>continuous technician monitoring of program technology throughout the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>CETS <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/fee-structure-for-auditoria\/\">charges for its services<\/a> are in addition to any space-usage charges imposed by GEMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeRYKEjj_mbpU8chI1UbOpm-AtYq15bo2RsEiE7icUiexYNfA\/viewform?vc=0&amp;c=0&amp;w=1&amp;flr=0\">Request CETS Services in Copley Formal Lounge <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/613\/2023\/08\/A4-COURTESY-GU-RIGHT-TO-LIFE-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Internal view of Copley Formal Lounge with seating \" class=\"wp-image-1474\" style=\"width:874px;height:656px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/613\/2023\/08\/A4-COURTESY-GU-RIGHT-TO-LIFE-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/613\/2023\/08\/A4-COURTESY-GU-RIGHT-TO-LIFE-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/613\/2023\/08\/A4-COURTESY-GU-RIGHT-TO-LIFE-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/613\/2023\/08\/A4-COURTESY-GU-RIGHT-TO-LIFE-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/613\/2023\/08\/A4-COURTESY-GU-RIGHT-TO-LIFE.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A venue of the hilltop campus in Copley Hall (a residence hall).
