{"id":1885,"date":"2025-07-29T12:59:50","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T16:59:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/?page_id=1885"},"modified":"2025-08-19T15:11:46","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T19:11:46","slug":"classroom-and-classroom-tech-reservations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/classroom-and-classroom-tech-reservations\/","title":{"rendered":"Classroom and Classroom Tech Reservations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Requests for Classroom Reservations (space reservations) are through the University&#8217;s <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/georgetown.emscloudservice.com\/web\/\">EMS System<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of classroom reservations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For-credit Semester or Summer classes need to be schedule by the <a href=\"schedulechanges@georgtown.edu\">OUR scheduling team<\/a>, due to the several dependencies of scheduling students for classes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All other reservations of classrooms are handled by the the CETS <strong><em><a href=\"classroomrequests@georgetown.edu\">Ad Hoc Classroom Reservations<\/a><\/em><\/strong> team.  Ad Hoc reservaations are suspended during the Add\/Drop periods of the Fall and Spring Term, but usually reopen a day or two after the end of each Add\/Drop period.  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Ad Hoc requests are submitted through the University&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/georgetown.emscloudservice.com\/web\/\">EMS System<\/a>, and then approved by CETS staff.  The EMS system will send a confirmation email once classroom spaces have been reserved. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There may be specific EMS portals for Summer, Fall orientation and Intersession periods.  Please email the CETS<a href=\"classroomrequests@georgetown.edu\"> Ad Hoc Scheduling Team<\/a> for more information. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classroom reservations for external audiences or external groups may incur <strong><em>Classroom Rental Fees<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requests for Classroom Tech Use, Training and\/or Support <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Requests for classroom tech and\/or training may also be made through the University&#8217;s <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/georgetown.emscloudservice.com\/web\/\">EMS System<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technology training requests, and reports of technology or infrastructure problems in classrooms may also be submitted through the<strong><em> CETS FreshService System<\/em><\/strong>.  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To open a ticket in FreshServices, please email <strong><em><a href=\"mailto:cetsops@georgetown.edu\">cetsops@georgetown.edu<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and be sure to include &#8220;training request&#8221; or &#8220;tech assistance request&#8221; in your message.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may also call 202-687-0131, the Classroom Assistance Hotline, for real-time communication with CETS staff (during CETS Operating Hours) and requests for immediate classroom assistance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Requests for Classroom Reservations (space reservations) are through the University&#8217;s EMS System.
