{"id":1966,"date":"2025-07-29T13:31:52","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T17:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/?page_id=1966"},"modified":"2025-08-11T15:31:50","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T19:31:50","slug":"installed-classroom-technology","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.georgetown.edu\/cets-clone\/installed-classroom-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Installed Classroom Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Every Hilltop General Purpose Classroom has the following equipment and capabilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a video-projector and retractible projection screen or a flat-panel LED display;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a networked Desktop PC with keyboard and mouse;*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HDMI and UDB-C cables for BYOD connectivity;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple TV for wireless connectivity of Apple BYOD;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instructor Wireless Lavaliere Miocrophone for instructor (Zoom, recording);**<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wall-mounted &#8220;boundary&#8221; microphones for student voices (Zoom, recording);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjustable front and rear wall USB Cameras (Zoom, recording);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a writing surface (Chalk and\/or White Boards) with chalk and\/or white board markers, and erasers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>either a Lecturn\/Desk (seated table and standing podium or a Heckler height-adjustable wide lecturn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>* The in-room PC has a Blu-Ray Disk player, and USB ports for memory sticks.  Its default Windows login is &#8220;CETSUser.&#8221;   If any PC is not logged in to &#8220;CETSUser;&#8221; please reboot the PC and it will auto-login.  &#8220;CETSUser&#8221; contains a complete MS Office Suite and many other educational software applications.  If properly licensed,  you may request additional software to be added to to the PC(s) in particular classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>** In only one classroom (Reiss 103) does the instructor lavalier provide voice amplifications.
