Compliance Training Series Curriculum
The Compliance Training Series unfolds over a nine-month period of online engagement, featuring a kick-off meeting, five sessions designed to designed to provide support to states and territories on their R/ED reduction plans, and individualized meetings with each participating jurisdiction.
Over this nine-month period from March to December 2025, participating jurisdictions will collaborate with each other and experts to develop, strengthen, and implement their Reducing R/ED Plans in response to the JJDPA’s core requirements. While focused on R/ED compliance, the training curriculum will also emphasize the intersection of the R/ED core requirement with the other JJDPA requirements, encouraging participants to embrace racial equity in all components of its approach to Act compliance.
The curriculum’s modules include:
- Exploring the key components of an effective R/ED plan
- Coordinating holistic data collection and analysis
- Developing communication strategies and authentic partnerships
- Investing in evidence-informed approaches
- Creating sustainable and powerful evaluation methods.
