The R/ED Compliance Training Series unfolds over a nine-month period of online engagement, featuring a kick-off meeting, five sessions designed to provide support to states and territories on their R/ED reduction plans, and individualized meetings with each participating jurisdiction.
As part of this training series, participants will:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the R/ED requirements;
- Collaborate with their multidisciplinary teams to review their current R/ED plan and assess the plan’s strengths and weaknesses;
- Engage in discussions that facilitate the sharing of evidence-informed practices and experiences with peers; and
- Utilize resources and tools to support the implementation of strategies to reduce racial and ethnic disparities.
Between April and December 2025, participants in the R/ED Compliance Training Series will be expected to:
- Attend and actively participate in the kick-off meeting and the five training sessions, scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month;
- Complete any assigned pre-session readings or activities to enhance their learning experience; and
- Actively contribute to group discussions and activities during sessions to foster a collaborative learning environment.
