Youth and Family Advisory Council

“Nothing about us without us.”

Core to the Center for RR/ED’s project is working side by side with youth and families. To that end, we are creating the Center for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities (RR/ED) Youth and Family Advisory Council

Led by professionals with lived experience, the Center for RR/ED Youth and Family Council will comprise up to 15 members from diverse backgrounds with experiences (current or past) in the youth justice system. The primary function of the council will be to serve as a guiding body for all activities conducted by the Center for RR/ED. As the saying goes, “nothing about us without us.”

As the Council meets and grows, we will begin sharing the resources and guidance they develop here.

We need your voice and your experience.

Applications to join the Youth and Family Council will open soon. If you are interested in applying to join the Youth and Family Council, check out our dedicated Application page.
