Page Templates
There are 6 pages templates to choose from and use our page example index to see examples of the various templates.
- Pages/Default: This template does not have any sidebars. It shows all of the content in the middle of the page.
- Side-bar with Parent-child Navigation: This template shows a sidebar on the lefthand side with links to child pages.
- Sidebar with Chaptered Navigation: This template shows a sidebar on the lefthand side with links to sections on the pages. The sections are defined automatically with Heading blocks.
- Sidebar with Post Filtering: This template creates a sidebar on the lefthand side that includes various filtering options:
- Posts: Filter Posts by keywords and/or starting date. You can limit which Posts are displayed by selecting specific categories and tags. If you leave all taxonomies unmarked, then all Posts will show.
- Profiles: Filter Profiles by keywords, names, and/or expertise. You can limit which Profiles are displayed by selecting specific Profile Groups. If you leave all taxonomies unmarked, then all Profiles will show. You can also select specific Profile groups that visitors can filter the content by. If you don’t select any Profile Groups, then the page won’t display filtering options based on this taxonomy.
- Areas of Study: Filter by keywords and/or maximum program length. You can limit which Areas of Study show by program types, schools, formats, topics, and campuses. If you leave all taxonomies unmarked, then all Areas of study will show. You can also select specific program types, schools, formats, topics, and campuses that visitors can filter the content by. If you don’t select any of them, then the page won’t display filtering options based on those taxonomies.
- Blank: This template eliminates the header and footer of the site.
- Transparent Header: This page template has a transparent header. It is an alternative design that eliminates the blue background for the heading of the site (including the navigation). This should only be used on home or landing page where the Home Page Hero or Ambient Video is at the top of the page.
