The mission of the Georgetown Strategic Sourcing Department is to work collaboratively and explore ways to responsibly and efficiently procure goods and services for University stakeholders while maintaining outstanding customer service. The Strategic Sourcing Department operates as a resource in connection with the purchase of goods and services, including strategic sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract drafting. The Strategic Sourcing Department is responsible for leading and supporting sourcing initiatives for all commodities across the university in addition to recommending ways to improve the efficacy of standard University agreements. We strive to optimize the value of purchases through leveraging technology, analytics, risk mitigation, and best practices in collaboration with our campus partners.
